Jake’s Lake House is a unique Lake Norman lake house offering 6 bedrooms and 5 baths, plenty of room for 14! Inspired by southern-style architecture, this home is located in a secluded cove, which sets it apart from other properties by offering guests a unique and private experience on Lake Norman.
The peaceful drive leading up to your Lake Norman getaway places you in a relaxing mindset. Let your everyday worries fall away as you arrive at your tranquil spot on the lake. You’ll quickly be amazed at the lavish grounds and meticulously manicured landscaping surrounding this special home. Upon entering the home, you’ll find yourself on the ground floor. You’ll step into an open and spacious area that brings together the living area, dining area, breakfast nook, and kitchen.
The living area is furnished with a large sectional couch, dedicated to providing comfort – an intimate feeling that is compounded by the indoor fireplace. The vaulted ceiling provides a subtle touch of luxury to the home.
The kitchen is newly updated with stainless steel appliances and a large island, providing plenty of space for the whole family to gather. With large windows that invite in the breathtaking views of Lake Norman, the room is full of natural light, which promises an open and airy atmosphere. What a great place to spend the day! Next to the kitchen is an adorable breakfast nook where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee while observing the sunrise.
Also on the ground floor you’ll find the classy dining room; elegantly decorated and perfect for sit-down meals for special occasions or to simply look your best and enjoy each other’s company.
As you settle into one of the six bedrooms, you will find yourself right at home. Dedication of time and attention promises comfort and satisfaction in each room that is decorated with beautiful furnishing and plush comforters and pillows on each bed. If you are fortunate enough to snag yourself a spot in the master bedroom upstairs, you will be spoiled with a full sized bathroom and access to the wraparound patio. Get up in the morning and step outside to feel the cool morning breeze, what a way to wake up to the world! Along the upstairs level, is a full-sized deck equipped with multiple sitting areas. This is the perfect place to sit back, relax, and have a cocktail or three. Sleeping is a blast for the kiddos in this house. A space to call their own, one room is filled with bunk beds that allow for both comfort and giggles. Did someone say FORT?!
Heading back downstairs, you’ll find the game room, not just for kids anymore! A vacation home would not be complete without a full-sized pool table and an old school arcade game. This room is perfect for both children and adults which includes an extra refrigerator for stocking snacks and drinks. Looking for more active fun? Step into the garage and challenge your loved ones to a game of ping pong! With a TV, arcade games, video games, a pool and ping pong table, and plenty of lounging areas both inside and outside – the amenities in this room could keep you entertained for hours! However, let’s not forget about the endless fun awaiting outside!
Right outside of the game room, you’ll step onto a deck which hosts even more sitting areas for guests. Here, you will immediately fall in love with the beauty of the outside. Take a few more steps toward the lake into our gazebo! The gazebo is fully equipped with tables and space for setting out an afternoon picnic. For your comfort, this area is well shaded for those who need a break from the sun. If you are seeking fun in the sun, there are many options to choose from. Head over to the large grassy region that provides a perfect place for sunbathing, or down the chic, wooden staircase, and bask in the comfort and joy of your own private swimming platform! Secluded in the cove, the swimming platform provides the perfect opportunity for the kids to swim and play safely while the adults relax in the gazebo. Observing the sunset from this point of view, promises a feeling of peace and tranquility that is rare.
If you’re in the mood for some excitement on the lake, bring a boat or take our rental pontoon out for some fun. Our 25’ pontoon boat is conveniently available right at your back door for rental! Conveniently located on the dock are all of the fun lake toys which include: a kayak, a paddle board, and an assortment of life jackets.
After a long day on the water, take a hot shower and head back outside on the patio to enjoy an evening by the fire. Our outdoor fire pit (wood provided) provides the perfect location for families to gather ‘round or for a romantic evening for two. Wind down and watch the sunset with a cup of tea or glass of wine.
